I have more than 55 years of experience in real estate, finance, and business. I use my knowledge, skills and experience to help people successfully sell, lease, and buy real estate. I do my best to help people get the highest posssible price for their property, in the shortest possible time, with the fewest problems. My goal is to help people preserve the wealth they have and to maintiane the quality of life they enjoy.
EXPERIENCE
I use the personal experience of having my own money invested in real estate, mortgages, and small business to help me guide my clients to a succesfull closed escrow. The real-world experience of being personally invested in real estate helps me save my clients time, money and costly problems.
In my real estate career, I have specialized in commercial and investment real estate sales. I also operated a property management company as a part of the brokerage firm, managing single-family residences, apartments, and commercial property. I have developed fifteen real estate investment partnerships. I have functioned as a real estate dealer/investor, and have purchased and sold approximately thirty properties including single family residences, multi-family residential properties, office buildings, residential building lots, and recreational land.
EDUCATION, TITLES, AND LICENSES
I have a B.A. degree in psycholgy, a secondary teaching crediential, a Junior College credential to teach business and real estate classes, (both life credentials). I have taught Planning and Financing a Small Busines, Personal Finance, and Real Estate Principals. I have been awarded a C.C.I.M. designation for commercial and investment property and a GRI designation in the area of residential property. I hold a real estate Brokers license, California Insurance License, a Series 7 Securities License, and a Series 24 Securities License.
COMMUNITY INTEREST
I have been a member of the Chico Noon Rotary Club for more than 33 years and a member of the Chico Elks Club for more than 56 years. I have more 20 years of experience and volunteer work with Boy Scouts of America. I was a Butte County Honorary Deputy Sheriff . I was a S.C.O.R.E. counselor. I am a past president, and Vice-President of the local Toastmasters Internationl group. I was on the Board of Directors of Do-It Leisure Cooperative.
FAMILY
I am a dedicated family man. My wife and I have been together 25 years. I am the proud father of two adult childern. My son graduated form University of California Santa Cruz, earned a Masters degree from Harvard, and holds a doctorate degree from Columbia University. My daughter graduated from University of California Santa Barbara and earned a law degree from Santa Clara University

Selling a property, especially in California, is a process that is full of unknown, and unforeseen problems. There are significant liabilities on the part of the seller to disclose the condition of the property and to disclose to the potential buyer, anything and everything that the seller knows about the property that could affect the value and use of the property by the new buyer. Helping insulate the seller from liability is a significant part of my job as the sellers broker.
